We highlight the inspiring stories of our clients who have achieved exceptional results with our solutions. Each project is a testament to our commitment to innovation, quality, and business growth.
Technologies Used:
A leading convenience store company with a national presence, more than 20,000 branches, and a team of thousands of employees, offering a wide range of products and services to meet the daily needs of its customers.
The client required expanding the functionality of a sales forecasting model (MVP 1) to include recipe items in 4 of the 12 interfaces sent to their planning system (Relex). The solution needed to automate the process in a cloud environment, enabling accurate sales forecasting calculations and ensuring efficient integration with existing data sources.
A solution based on Azure services was implemented to automate the data flow and expand the functionality of the sales forecasting model. This allowed for seamless integration of recipe items into the existing system, ensuring accurate and efficient sales forecasting.
Selected Solution:
The main achievements and benefits obtained from this project were the following:
The solution was designed to be scalable and flexible, allowing for future expansions to accommodate new forecasting requirements or the integration of additional data sources.
Client Testimonial:
“Thanks to the implemented solution, we now have a more robust and accurate forecasting system, aligned with the needs of our daily operations.”
Client: GEPP

Technologies Used:
A leading company dedicated to the production of carbonated and non-carbonated beverages, as well as purified water, with a national presence and over 40,000 employees.
Business Problem:
GEPP (Grupo Embotellador PepsiCo) had multiple applications and different technological tools, including Oracle databases, the Oracle SOA Suite integration platform, and security components. The systems supported by this infrastructure were the main sales, distribution, logistics, and other applications. These environments operated on an IBM Power computing infrastructure with AIX operating systems, which required an update, demanding a significant investment in both hardware costs and migration services to transition from the current platform to a new one. Additionally, there was a need to upgrade various components, such as the existing database on version 11g, which was out of support. Therefore, it was necessary to upgrade to a more recent version that provided ongoing support and eliminated the high risks associated with being out of support.
Solution Alternatives:
Gepp had two options to address the issue of hardware platform obsolescence and having their main databases out of support. The first option was to make a significant investment in acquiring new IBM Power server equipment and performing a database upgrade to version 12c. The second option involved migrating all components to an Oracle Cloud environment and performing a database version upgrade.
Selected Solution:
Gepp decided to use the specialized services of H3 Consulting in Oracle Cloud technologies and services, which included:
1.- Definition of an architecture tailored to an Oracle Cloud environment, including the use of high-performance database services with Oracle Exadata Cloud Services.
2.- Execution of a highly efficient migration process that minimized downtime for the production environments.
3.- Database upgrade to version 19c during the same migration process.
4.- Execution of the re-platform process to move current environments from IBM Power/AIX to Intel x86/Linux platforms.
Achievements and Benefits:
The main achievements and benefits obtained in this project were as follows:
1.- Execution of a highly efficient migration strategy that fully met the planned timelines, minimizing the blackout window of the production environments, ensuring that their operations were not interrupted beyond the normal offline times previously experienced by Gepp.
2.- Elimination of a significant investment in new IBM Power equipment.
3.- Database upgrade to a version that provides a long support lifecycle.
4.- Operation on a secure, high-performance, and elastic platform that adapts to the business’s processing demands.
5.- Transition from a capital expenditure (Capex) model to an operational expenditure (Opex) model, providing a more convenient financial management approach.
6.- Ease of incorporating new services and technologies, allowing for a much more agile response to Gepp’s business requirements.
